Strength

   All of our metal grain storage bins are fully stiffened so you can store any grain or pulse crop in them. You can even use them for natural air-drying and aeration without additional stiffening.

   Having stiffeners in place increases wall strength dramatically over an unstiffened design of the same weight and the external position of the stiffener prevents grain hang-up. The stiffeners are supplied in both 36" and 72" lengths and are joined by a splice plate. Twister uses a lighter gauge stiffener at the top of the bin and heavier gauge stiffeners at the bottom where additonal strength is required.
